Casa dos Bits is an independent journalistic content provider, created in 1998 by a group of journalist and designers. The main purpose is to develop journalistic content about Information Technologies, and the company has already created, or helped to create, some of the most meaningful Portuguese editorial projects in IT. After editing two of the leading magazines on Technologies, Exame Informática and BiT, until 1997 and 1999, respectively, Casa dos Bits dedicated most of its attention to the Internet as the possibilities brought by the rapid publication and interactive connection with the reader are very appealing. Our main projects are:
Þ TeK - a portal on Information Technologies integrated with SAPO, the leading portal in Portugal Þ ABC da Tecnologia - a formative and informative portal on Information Technologies. Þ Dia D - a weekly magazine published in one of the main newspaper in Portugal, Público. Casa dos Bits is a permanent content provider on IT articles. Þ Jornal de Negócios - Jornal de Negócios is one of the most notorious economic newspapers in Portugal. For this newspaper Casa dos Bits produces regular Special Editions about IT.
